Welcome to 1^st Grade!

I am really excited to be your child’s teacher this year. I graduated from University of Houston-Clear Lake this past May with a bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies K-6 and I am certified in ESL. Last year I completed my student internship at Challenger and I am happy to officially be a part of the Challenger family. My husband Aaron and I have been married for 17 years. We have two children who are currently attending Dawson High School. Kaden is a junior this year and Addison is a sophomore. We have both lived in Pearland most of our lives and our children have been in Pearland schools since kindergarten. We have two very spoiled dogs named Palmer and Ivy.

During my free time, I love to spend time traveling, reading, going to the beach, binge watching TV shows and spending time with my family and dogs.

I am extremely passionate about teaching and I can’t wait to spend this year learning and growing with my students. I believe communication is very important, so please feel free to communicate with me about anything. My conference time is 9:40am-10:30am each day except Tuesdays when we have team planning.
