Ms. Katelyn Seymour is entering her first year of teaching at Rogers Middle School and Berry Miller Junior High! Ms. Seymour received her Bachelor of Music Education from Sam Houston State University. While there, she was a member of the SHSU Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and the Bearkat Marching Band!  Ms. Seymour teaches the trombone, euphonium, tuba, and french horn beginner classes at RMS and is the director of the Concert 1 Band at BMJH!  Ms. Seymour is very excited to be working in Pearland ISD and is looking forward to making great music! 

Outside of school, Ms. Seymour loves to try new recipes, spend time outdoors, explore Houston, and watch movies! She also loves playing the Tuba! 

Ms. Seymour is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, Women Band Directors International, Sigma Alpha Iota Women's Music Fraternity, and Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority.
