Hello and welcome to Algebra 1! I am Susan Thompson and I'm excited to be teaching at Pearland High School this year. After spending 15 years in industry as a chemical engineer, I have chosen to start a new career as a teacher. I'm originally from New York and a graduate of Cornell University. I have traveled around the world and have lived in Malaysia, Spain, and Saudi Arabia. I look forward to meeting and working with students to help them learn not only algebra, but also responsibility, communication, and time management. I love all kinds of arts and crafts and am the proud Mom of two teenage boys.
