Welcome to 8th Grade Science!

My name is Sam Karnya and I am excited to start my teaching career here at West! I am born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and am coming off of 13 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. My family and I are excited to be part of the Pearland family. My wife and I have two kids entering 4th and 2nd grade. I will be coaching football, cross-country and track & field this year as well. I look forward to having your student in my class!
