Welcome to 6G ELA/SS
Welcome to 6th grade, Rockets! My name is Ms. Ringleben and I will be your ELA/SS teacher this year. I am looking forward to working with each of you and growing as a team as we learn everything 6th grade has to offer. Parents, I am here for you as well. I look forward to partnering with you in your students' success. Please feel free to reach out to me via email and I will respond during my office hours (or after school before 5pm).
I am so excited about teaching at Rogers Middle School this year! I started my teaching experience in Pearland ISD at Magnolia Elementary as a student teacher and now I have the privilege of entering my 10th year of teaching in the same district.
I graduated from San Jacinto College with a degree in Psychology in 2009 and continued my education at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, where I received a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2012. I am currently enrolled at the University of Texas - Arlington working towards my M.Ed in Educational Leadership.
I have three daughters; a senior in high school, a fourth grader and a first grader. They are all competitive dancers, so outside of school I stay very busy. Most nights you will find me grading or working in the dance studio parking lot and weekends are usually filled with rehearsals, competitions or conventions. When we manage to get free time, we like to travel, swim, attend concerts and spend time hanging out together with all of our animals (we have two dogs, four cats and a rabbit). I also love animal puns (and most other puns really), any reason to dress wacky and Harry Potter (I'm a Ravenclaw).
