Hello, my name is Howard (Walker) Rose. I'm the CTE welding Instructor for PHS. I'm married to my wonderful Lisa and have two daughters, Hannah and Hallie. 

I have 22+ years in the oil and gas industry where we manufactured pressure vessel internals worldwide.  My background consists of a variety of CNC equipment to include punch press, mills, laser, waterjet, plasma cutters, robotic brake press and robotic welders.   During my career, I worked in the engineering department as an engineering tech doing design, drafting, layout and programming of CNC equipment. Before leaving the oil and gas industry to pursue a teaching career, I was the Quality Control Manager. I received my AWS Certified Welding Inspector in 2008 and became well versed in the ASME code.

I'm excited to be able to help students to weld in multiple disciplines, but to also have a better understanding of knowledge of fabrication.
