Hello and welcome to fourth grade!

My name is Evelyn Suarez, and I am thrilled to be your student's fourth grade ELA teacher! I have been working for Pearland ISD for the last two years, but this is my first year at Carleston Elementary. I am no stranger to Pearland as I attended Jamison Middle School, Pearland Junior High East and graduated from Dawson High School (Go Eagles!). I went on and obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Lamar University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and my two dogs, Xochi and Rex! I am a huge fan of all sports, but my two favorite are baseball and soccer (Go 'Stros!). I am a long-time Book of the Month subscriber and can easily get lost in a book. I hope to make a positive impact on your student this year, and make some amazing life-long memories!

¡Hola y bienvenidos a cuarto grado!

Mi nombre es Evelyn Suarez y estoy encantada de ser la maestra de Artes del Lenguaje Inglés/ Artes del Lenguaje Español y Lectura de cuarto grado de su estudiante. Llevo dos años trabajando para el distrito de Pearland, pero este es mi primer año en Carleston Elementary. No soy una extraña en Pearland ya que asistí a Jamison Middle School, Pearland Junior High East y me gradué de Dawson High School (Go Eagles!). Continué y obtuve mi Licenciatura en la Universidad de Lamar. En mi tiempo libre, me encanta pasar tiempo con mis seres queridos y mis dos perros, Xochi y Rex. Soy una gran fanática de todos los deportes, pero mis dos favoritos son el béisbol y el fútbol (Go Astros!). Soy suscriptora del Libro del mes desde hace mucho tiempo y puedo perderme fácilmente en un libro. ¡Espero tener un impacto positivo en su estudiante este año y crear recuerdos increíbles para toda la vida!
