Hello! I am Ms.Chavera! I am excited about being your child's third grade teacher this year! I will be teaching a split schedule with my co-teaching partner, Ms. Waddell. I focus on the academic subjects of math, science, and social studies!

I grew up here in Pearland, TX and have attended schools in PISD from Sablatura to PHS! I received my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Houston. I have two little ones, ages 2 and 4, that keep me busy when I’m not in the classroom. I am honored to be welcomed to the amazing team at Silverlake Elementary and to teach at the school district that helped shape and develop me as a former student.
