Welcome to the Virtual Kitchen!
My name is Chef Dunn and I am happy to be starting my 8th year of instruction at Dawson! I have been working professionally in kitchens since the age of 16 and hope that my knowledge of the kitchen and techniques will be passed down to the next generation of restaurateurs and hospitality workers I will interact with everyday in class.
I love to travel and the students will often here stories of places I've been and where I would like to travel. I'm a big believer in experiencing life from different perspectives because it will truly make your life rich and prepare you for whatever life throws at you. I often say, "The worls is bigger than your backyard!".
I am excited about teaching this year's group of culinary geniuses in both Culinary Arts Year 1 and Year 2. I know that we will produce a great deal of wonderful food and future leaders in the industry.
