I am Mark Lesmeister. I have been teaching physics at both the high school and college levels for 17 years. At other times in my life, I have been an at-home dad, Marine Corps intelligence officer, and physics graduate student. I have two children, both of whom graduated from Dawson High School.
I will be holding online office hours while we are out of school. As of now, the office hours are scheduled from 1 PM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Friday's time will be devoted to going over the assignment that was due that day. I am available for individual or small group conferences by prior arrangement. I am available by email at any hour of the day. Please continue to monitor Skyward and Canvas for important information.

We will use the Canvas Learning Management System this year. Canvas allows the students to access class notes, submit lab reports, view a class calendar and other functions. To access the Canvas site, please go to https://pearland.instructure.com.
Please use the calendar on Canvas to be informed about all upcoming events.
We will use resources provided by the College Board to help prepare for the test, including online resources. A message about how to sign up for these resources will be sent at the beginning of the year.
