Rogers Middle School once again named “Texas School to Watch”
Rogers Middle School was recently recognized for the second time as a School to Watch by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform and the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) as part of a national recognition program. Rogers is among only about 55 other schools across Texas to earn such distinction and honor.

Join the Foundation’s 2023 Evening for Education Gala and annual Giving Campaign
The Pearland ISD Education Foundation's biggest fundraising initiative is returning once again with a new theme, new goal, a new secret location, with the same goal in mind: to continue funding innovative projects and classroom needs for students and teachers in Pearland ISD. The sixth annual Evening for Education Gala and Giving Campaign, presented by Bayway Lincoln and Chevrolet, is set to take place on April 1, 2023.

Twenty Pearland ISD students advance in Houston Rodeo art competition
Twenty Pearland Independent School District artists were recently selected to advance in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art program competition. Their artwork is moving on to the next round of judging known as Grand Prix, in which 72 pieces of art will be chosen by judges to be auctioned for student awards and the rodeo’s educational fund. Additionally, one student was awarded gold merit in the inaugural judging of the Special Needs category.

Class of 2022 SAT scores surpass state average
The College Board recently released the 2022 SAT scores and Pearland Independent School District’s 2022 senior class surpassed the state’s SAT average by 134 points.
