    Pearland Independent School District launches new digital flyer communication tool that allows for wide online distribution. The new system combines convenience and safety for parents, with a cost-effective, wider reach for organizations.

  • District AP Scholar Awards continue to increase

    Pearland Independent School District students’ Advanced Placement achievements continue to climb. According to a College Board report, 698 Pearland ISD high school students achieved “scholar” status this year compared to 652 in 2019.

  • District offers tax calculator for financial transparency

    In alignment with its financial transparency efforts, Pearland Independent School District makes available a Taxes Due Calculator tool for the community on its website. The calculator can be utilized to help guide citizens in making an informed decision regarding the Voter-Approved Tax Rate Election (VATRE), which was triggered by the adoption of the lowest overall district tax rate in at least 30 years.

  • 2nd Nine-Week Mode of Instruction Changes

    UPDATE 10-19-20: Projected Remote vs. On-Campus learners for 2nd Nine-Weeks. At the end of the first nine-week grading period, parents will have the opportunity to change the learning mode for their student. The learning mode options include: On-Campus Learning or Remote Learning.

  • Turner valedictorian returns as a teacher

    The sense of humor and passion for numbers stand out when Kane Berger is in front of a classroom filled with students not much younger than him. The Class of 2017 valedictorian from Turner College and Career High School (TCCHS) returned home as an algebra I teacher this school year after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University. He is the first Turner graduate to return as part of the school’s faculty.
