Ashley Jadine Foundation to Honor Turner Student Support Counselor with Mental Health Advocate Award

The Ashley Jadine Foundation, a proud community partner of Pearland ISD, will honor Turner College and Career High School student support counselor Melissa McDavid with the Mental Health Advocate Award for her outstanding dedication to youth mental wellness across the Greater Houston area.

The award will be presented during the 2026 H.O.P.E. Dance on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

McDavid will be recognized for her tireless work as a high school counselor, providing vital support, resources, and encouragement to students while championing mental health awareness within the school district and broader community. Her commitment aligns directly with the foundation’s mission to end the stigma surrounding mental illness and provide hope to young people.
