Dawson High School Student Achieves Top 10 in Texas at Microsoft Office Specialist Championship Qualifier

Dawson High School student Hitesh Dasari has demonstrated exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, placing 10th in the state of Texas during the Spring Qualifier of the 2025 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship. This remarkable achievement highlights the dedication and talent of Pearland ISD students in mastering essential business software.

The success of Dasari and many other students can be attributed in part to the guidance and support of Chanee Bahrs, Business teacher at Dawson High School. Her commitment to empowering students with practical skills has undoubtedly contributed to this impressive triumph.

Beyond Dasari’s outstanding individual achievement, Pearland ISD celebrates the success of 129 Pearland ISD high school students who also passed the Microsoft Excel Specialist test.
