Notice of Sale of Real Property

Pearland Independent School District is accepting competitive sealed bids for the purchase of the following District-owned surplus real property:

±45.626 acres (approximately 1,987,469 square feet) of vacant land located in Brazoria County, Texas, along the southwest line of FM 518 (E. Broadway Street), east of Pearland Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77581.

Property ID Numbers: 164165, 164167 and 171756

Property Use/Zoning: Includes both residential and commercial areas

Sale Structure: All three properties will be sold together as one transaction, individual bids for separate properties will not be accepted.

Minimum Bid: $8,250,000

Bid Security Deposit: $100,000 Certified or Cashier’s Check

Bid Deadline: October 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time

Public Bid Opening: October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Central Time, 1928 N. Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581

Bids must be submitted electronically through the District’s Ion Wave electronic bidding system. The required original Bid Security Deposit must be delivered in accordance with the instructions and deadline specified in the solicitation documents.

A licensed Buyer’s Real Estate Broker may be eligible for a commission not to exceed one percent (1%) of the final purchase price, provided the broker and requested commission are identified in the successful purchaser’s bid and all solicitation requirements are satisfied. No commission will be payable unless the sale successfully closes.

The sale is subject to the terms and conditions contained in the solicitation documents and approval by the Pearland ISD Board of Trustees. PISD reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities or irregularities as permitted by law, and withdraw the property from sale. Award will be made to the qualified and responsive bidder whose bid is determined to provide the highest net proceed in accordance with the solicitation documents and applicable law.
