Following an intense and highly competitive audition process, 87 students from Pearland and Dawson high schools have secured spots in the Texas Music Educators Association Region 19 all-region choir.
The TMEA auditions do more than just qualify students for the choir; they equip them with valuable, lifelong skills.
"Regardless of the outcome, simply taking on this personal challenge elevates every student’s musicianship," Bell said. "Beyond the music, it's a lesson in dedication, managing a high-stakes project that culminates in a live solo performance. The process naturally instills lifelong habits like organization, time management, and resilience."
