Pearland Expo Show Slated for September 9-11 and 17

The Pearland community is preparing for the 14th annual Pearland Expo, a multi-day event celebrating local agriculture and education, scheduled for September 9-11 and 17 at the Richard L. Wagoner Agricultural Facility (4715 Bailey Road).

A key highlight of the event is the sixth annual Pearland Partners Livestock Show, which will be held on September 9. This special show pairs local students with experienced Pearland ISD Future Farmers of America members who act as mentors. Through this partnership, students learn essential skills in caring for, grooming, managing, and feeding animals.

The program culminates in a show where students exhibit their animals to judges, peers, teachers, administrators, and the wider Pearland community.

6 p.m.: Market Goat, Market Lambs, and Culinary Shows

 

Friday, Sept. 11

6 p.m.: Breeding Beef Heifers, Market

Steers, Market Swine, open Cattle Showmanship Class, and Ag Mechanics Project Show

Thursday, Sept. 17, Robert Turner College and Career High School Culinary Arts Facility

5:30 p.m.: Buyer’s Dinner
