Pearland High School Student Crowned FFA Texas State Champion
Karly Anderson, a standout student from Pearland High School, has achieved remarkable success at the Texas FFA State Competition, held in Stephenville from June 2-4. Anderson clinched first place in the highly competitive Extemporaneous Speaker event and secured sixth place in the State Soil Stewardship contest, making her the FFA Texas State Champion.
Her stellar performance at the state level has earned Anderson the opportunity to represent Texas FFA at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this fall.
"We are incredibly proud of Karly's dedication and hard work," said Michaela Morgan, Pearland High School FFA Advisor. "Her achievement as the Texas State Champion in Extemporaneous Speaking is a testament to her talent and commitment. We look forward to supporting her as she prepares for the national competition."
Anderson's accomplishments highlight the strong agricultural science program at Pearland High School and the commitment of students to excellence in leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
