Pearland ISD Earns 'A' Rating in Texas Education Agency's 2025 Accountability System

Pearland Independent School District is proud to announce that it has received an 'A' rating from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) in the 2025 A–F Accountability Ratings. The ratings, released today, reflect the district's exceptional performance in student achievement, school progress, and its commitment to closing achievement gaps.

The TEA's A–F Accountability system evaluates schools and districts on multiple measures of success, providing a comprehensive overview of public education performance across the state. The 'A' rating signifies that Pearland ISD is excelling in its mission to provide high-quality education and support for all students.

"We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, staff and community for this outstanding achievement," Pearland ISD Superintendent Dr. Larry Berger said. "This 'A' rating is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in our district. It shows that our focus on academic excellence and continuous improvement is making a real difference in the lives of our students."

In addition to the 2025 ratings, the TEA also released the 2024 A–F Accountability Ratings, which were previously delayed. Both sets of ratings are now available to the public on TXschools.gov, offering a comprehensive look at district and campus performance over the last two academic years.

Pearland ISD encourages parents, guardians and community members to review the ratings to learn more about the district's performance. The A–F accountability system is designed to promote transparency and continuous improvement in Texas public education.
