Pearland ISD Earns Top 'A' Rating in TEA Accountability Ratings for Second Consecutive Year

Pearland Independent School District has earned an official ‘A’ rating from the Texas Education Agency in the state’s 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings released today. The top-tier grade highlights the district's outstanding performance across student achievement, school progress, and targeted efforts to close achievement gaps.

The TEA’s statewide accountability system measures public school performance across multiple metrics, with an ‘A’ representing high academic standards and growth for all students.

"We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, staff, and community for earning an 'A' rating for the second consecutive year," Pearland ISD Superintendent Dr. Larry Berger said. "Back-to-back top ratings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone in our district. Every piece matters and together we are building a stronger future for every Pearland ISD student."
