Pearland ISD Students Earn Recognition at TMSCA Competition
95 Pearland ISD students competed in the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association State Competition on March 29th at the University of Texas at San Antonio. TMSCA, formed by Texas math and science teachers, promotes excellence in math and science through competition. Throughout the year, students participated in various local competitions to earn qualifying scores for the state event.
Students from Jamison, Rogers, Sablatura Middle Schools and Berry Miller Junior High, Pearland Junior High East and Pearland Junior High West participated in the state meet. Trophies were awarded to those placing 1st - 10th, and medals to those finishing 11th - 20th. Pearland ISD is incredibly proud of all the students who participated.
