PHS Baseball Alumnus Nico Partida Named to 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate Team

Pearland Independent School District is proud to announce that 2025 Pearland High School graduate and baseball alumnus Nico Partida has been named to the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. This marks Partida’s second time selected to represent the United States on the international stage. He will travel with Team USA to compete in Taiwan from July 11–15, 2026.
Partida’s selection caps off a historic freshman collegiate season with Texas A&M defined by elite national recognition. In addition to his Team USA selection, Partida was honored with several of the highest accolades in college baseball this season, including:
- Perfect Game Midseason Freshman of the Year
- Baseball America First Team Freshman All-America
- Perfect Game Freshman All-America
- National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) First Team Freshman All-America
This latest milestone solidifies Partida's place among the elite competitors in the PHS athletic program. His upcoming appearance in Taiwan highlights a continuing tradition of local athletic excellence, elevating Pearland to the international stage and inspiring the next generation of players to follow in his footsteps.
