    Reunification Drill

    This Friday, October 20, Pearland ISD will be conducting a Reunification drill using a small number of students and staff from Rogers Middle School only. The Reunification drill will not be an active shooter drill and we anticipate this to be a calm experience for the participating students, staff and volunteering parents.

  • Dawson HS, PJH West and Rogers Middle School students bound for Future Problem Solving International

    Dawson High School, Pearland Junior High West and Rogers Middle School will represent Texas at the 2023 Future Problem Solving Program International Conference to be held June 7-11 in Amherst, Massachusetts. At the Texas State Bowl, DHS took the top spot in Community Problem Solving in the Senior Division as well as three top spots in Global Issue Problem Solving (GIPS). PJH West’s Kara Li won the Individual GIPS competition and Rogers won the GIPS junior team division.

    District celebrates teacher, employee honorees

    Pearland Independent School District proudly celebrated its 2022-23 campus teachers, paraprofessional award winners, employees with 20+ years of service, retirees, principals and employees of the year on Friday, April 29, during the Pearland ISD Star Awards. At the event, the district elementary and secondary teacher award winners were also announced.

  •  TMSCA state meet

    Students secure awards at TMSCA state meet

    Pearland Independent School District students did the math to rack up multiple successes at the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association (TMSCA) state competition on April 1 in San Antonio with 156 competing students. Pearland ISD was represented at the TMSCA state competition by students from Pearland Junior High West, Pearland Junior High South, Berry Miller Junior High, Sablatura, Alexander and Rogers middle schools. PJH West and Sablatura secured 3rd place in sweepstakes, 1st place in team Science, 3rd place in team Math, 3rd place in team Calculator Applications and 8th place in team Number Sense.

    Pearland Junior High West crowned Quiz Bowl Champion

    Pearland Independent School District middle school and junior high teams waged a battle of trivia skills at Turner College and Career High School on February 24 that ended in Pearland Junior High West winning the overall Grand Championship.
