The Asian Culture Club of Dawson High School is a club designed to increase the camaraderie and Eagle pride among students of Asian descent, along with any and all students within the DHS family. All are welcome. The original intent of club founder Brian Zhang, was to simply help close gaps and bring students together. The club is very simple. It’s for leisure. No huge demands. A lot of the Asian education which takes place comes from just hanging out and talking with one another, comparing stories and having fun. We don’t do much, but what we do, we do well. We have monthly meetings to discuss the next event or fundraising venture. We involve ourselves with Flock Party, where we serve delicious Asian food. We participate in the fall Dragon Boat Races in Sugarland, TX each October. We take pride in our awesome t-shirts. We also host the DHS Lunar New Year Festival each Spring Semester with games, great food, and lots of fun.
