For the 18th consecutive year, through YMCA Operation Backpack, Vic Coppinger Family YMCA donated 600 backpacks and school supplies for Pearland Independent School District students to kick-off the 2022-23 school year.

From July through August, the YMCA collected backpack and school supply donations from the community providing students the opportunity to return to learning with the tools to be succesful. Campaign partners included ABC13 and H-E-B. The campaign sponsor was Citgo.
