DHS Graduate has novel featured NY Times Best Seller
Dawson High School 2013 graduate Grace Li was recently featured as #15 on the NY Times Best Seller list and Sunday Times #1 bestseller in the UK with her novel "Portrait of a Thief". Grace was also the Discover book for Barnes & Noble for the month of April and has secured a deal with Netflix.
While at Pearland ISD, Grace also attended Berry Miller Junior High, Pearland Junior High South, Roger's Middle school and Silvercrest Elementary.
Grace was a Pearland ISD Future Problem Solvers participant.
"I'm so thankful for my FPS experience! It expanded my perspective and encouraged me to think creatively, both in writing and my everyday life. Many of my early experiences with creative writing came from thinking through FPS scenarios, their problems, solutions, etc. I can't wait to see what the next generation of FPS students get up to," she said.
She is a graduate of Duke University and is currently attending Stanford University Medical School.
