Turner College and Career High School will be getting a face lift. Some of the projects approved through the 2016 Bond election will affect our campus and will enable us to provide better Career and Technical Education (CTE) experiences for our students. These Turner CCHS Bond Projects include additions and renovations to the Agriculture Barn, a Culinary Arts Facility, a Welding and HVAC Shop, and various security upgrades throughout the building.
While some of these projects will be completed this summer, we expect to have construction on our campus from March, 2018 to March, 2019. Please refer to the campus map below to see how the construction will affect the student parking lot, as well as the campus traffic flow. This construction will affect some of our traffic patterns.
Student drivers should be aware that they may park in "Student Parking Area A" or in "Student Parking Area B." Parking Area B will include roughly 150 spaces in the Jr. High South Parking Lot, designated by orange parking cones. Those students who choose to park in lot A will need to be aware that the construction will cause increased traffic congestion around dismissal.
