Turner College and Career High School senior Ashley Dinh and junior Lindsey MacPhail will represent Pearland Independent School District at the International HOSA Conference in Orlando June 19-22.
Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a program focused on developing students who are interested in pursuing a career in health care.
Dinh and MacPhail placed third in Clinical Nursing and Medical Reading, respectively, at the state competition in San Antonio March 28-30. Dinh will also be recognized at the international conference, along with TCCHS junior Kendra McDonald, as they received the Barbara James Award of Recognition for 500 hours of community service.
This is the fourth consecutive year TCCHS is represented by students competing at the international level.

The TCCHS HOSA team also received the Silver Award for Blood Drive unit collected in a year with 364 units collected.
