Pearland Independent School District welcomes Lytrina Bob as its director of purchasing.
Bob, who most recently served as the Sr. Contracts Administrator for Harris County, joined the district’s Business Office in May. Prior to that, she was a Procurement Manager for Harris County Department of Education for nine years and a buyer for University of Texas Health Science Center.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Lamar University and is excited to expand on the work of her predecessors by finding new and innovative ways to meet the procurement goals of Pearland ISD.
“I look forward to working with my teammates in business services and in purchasing, as well as the Pearland ISD school administrators. I am excited to expand on the work of my predecessors by finding new and innovative ways to meet the procurement goals of the district,” she said.
The motto that will guide her in her new position is what she calls by the core values of public procurement: accountability, ethics, impartiality, professionalism, service and transparency.
“The vision I have for my team is to serve in the best interest of Pearland ISD by delivering outstanding customer service, fostering collaborative relationships and providing significant value to our internal stakeholders,” she said.
