Students place at Brazoria County Fair

       Students from the Pearland FFA recently participated at the Brazoria County Fair.

       Turner College and Career High School senior Taylor Bossley won Reserve Champion ORB Heifer and senior Jayce Morgan won Swine Grand Champion Senior Showmanship. TCCHS senior Breanna Camario won Reserved Best in Class in Art II.

       Other students who placed at the fair were:

  • Colin Argo (PHS) – Second Place Market Goat
  • Mary Mathis (PHS) – Second Place Southdown Lamb
  • Alexis Tanguma (TCCHS) – Second Place Swine Show
  • Cheyenne Bland (PHS) – Third Place Swine Show
  • Desaray Guerrero (TCCHS) – Third Place Swine Show
  • Emily Kinane (PHS) – Third Place Market Goat
  • Alaina Scott (PHS) – Third Place Market Goat
  • Shirley Bishop (TCCHS) – Fifth Place Swine Show
  • Lexi Morgan (PHS) – Fifth Place Market Goat
  • Jayce Morgan (TCCHS) – Fifth Place Swine Show
  • Cami Joubert (PHS) – Sixth Place Market Goat

       Two students also placed in the art portion of the Brazoria County Fair. These students are:

  • Angel Frias (TCCHS) – Finalist Behind Reserve in Art II
  • Jaqueline Mandola (PHS) – Judges Choice in Art IV
