The Pearland ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2021-22 school year calendar at their February 9 meeting.

       The first day of school for Pearland ISD students is Wednesday, Aug. 18.

       School hours for the 2021-22 school year will be. . .

• Elementary Schools, including Pre-K: 7:55 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
• Middle/Junior High Schools: 8:35 a.m. – 3:55 p.m.
• High Schools, including PACE Center: 7:15 a.m. – 2:35 p.m.

       As required by TEA, four bad weather days are built into the calendar within the required minutes.

       Holiday/Important dates include:

• Thanksgiving: Nov. 22-26
• End of fall semester (early release day): Dec. 17
• Christmas Break: Dec. 20-Jan. 5
• Spring Break: March 14-18

       All Pearland ISD students will finish the school year Thursday, May 26, as an early release day, and seniors will graduate on Friday, May 27.
