Dawson High School students represent Pearland ISD at state SkillsUSA competition

       Two Dawson High School students recently represented Pearland Independent School District at the SkillsUSA state competition held online and took the bronze.

       High School seniors Grace Templonuevo and Sophia Wilson placed third in Digital Cinema Production (under the Arts/AV contest) held online and are alternates for the national level of the competition.

       DHS’s sponsor for SkillsUSA is Laura McClellan.

       SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industries working together to ensure a skilled U.S. workforce.

       A national nonprofit organization, SkillsUSA serves high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations.
