Pearland Independent School District welcomes Monio Mark II as its finance director.
Mark, who most recently served as controller at the City of Baytown for three years, joined the district’s business office earlier this month. Prior to that, he was an accountant and auditor for privately-owned companies for over six years.
“My vision for my staff is to strive to put them in a position to succeed regarding reaching their full potential in their career. If my staff and I are reaching our potential, it will in return benefit Pearland ISD as we all work to continue to be a world-class district,” he said.
Mark holds a master’s and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, both from Sul Ross State University.
“I’m looking forward to continue to serve alongside my team as one of the most efficient business offices in the state as well as supporting the district to maintain a high level of excellence,” he said.
