District offers STEM Summer Camp

       Looking for an opportunity for your student to sharpen their STEM skills this summer? From June 20-24 and July 18-22, Pearland Independent School District will offer PEAR (Programming, Engineering, Applied science/math and Robotics) Camp sponsored by NuMinds Enrichment and will be held at Pearland Junior High East (2315 Old Alvin Rd).

       Offered to incoming 5th-8th grade students, this two-week program includes five moderated courses each week, including activities, demonstrations, challenges, in addition to opportunities to interact with course instructors.

       Themes for courses include endangered animals, inventions, app designing, a
“day in the life” aboard an international space craft, optical illusions, build-your-won games, math behind cooking, Youtube content creation and more!

       Registration cost is $350 per week. Register online now through June 1, or until spots fill up, at www.numindsenrichment.com/pearland.
