Part of Pearland ISD’s preparation for a new school year is reviewing State required immunization compliance. The state requires specific vaccines for students attending Texas schools. Students entering the 7th grade have additional requirements added to the immunizations they received initially to attend school. Communication was via email to all incoming 7th graders who are currently out of compliance for the State’s immunization requirements. If your student will be going into 7th grade this August, please check your Skyward email (including your junk folder) for more information. Students will be unable to obtain their school schedule and/or attend the first day of school until an updated vaccine record has been provided to the campus.
